Criminal Interviews for Road Patrol is a 1-day course that focuses on interview and interrogation strategies designed specifically for the road patrol officer or deputy. Real interview footage, from our instructors, will be shown to reinforce what we teach.

After being promoted back to patrol, Jon Rappa made it his utlimate goal to test which interview strategies transfer from detectives to the patrol side and how to successfully improve on the interviews conducted by patrol officers. Patrol officers should not be limited in something they do every single day.

WHAT WE TEACH

Understanding that there are environmental and circumstantial differences between a detective and patrol interview, this one-day class focuses on teaching interview and interrogation from the perspective of the road patrol officer or deputy. The student will learn how to conduct better victim, witness, and suspect interviews and, of course, how to get the guilty criminal suspect to tell the truth!

Different approaches will be discussed, and each one will be supported by bodycam video, of Jon showing the proper application of these techniques.
